Michael L. (Mike) Snyder Mike Snyder is a member of St. Mark's Parish, S.D. Mike has been a professional counselor for the past 20 years working with individuals and families in many settingsincluding; the South Dakota prison system, Marty Indian school, Marty Mission and in private practice. For the past 10 years Mike has sought to provide a spiritual framework to strengthen his counseling principles. In that time he has developed an inner healing ministry called 'The Matthew Ministry' with his prayer partner Jane Barz. Through the Matthew Ministry team, they have prayed with over 1500 adults and children ranging in age from 6-80s. The Matthew Ministry has been utilized in settings such as retreat centers, several parishes and through individual ministry sessions with people throughout South Dakota , Iowa , Nebraska and Minnesota. The issues addressed by this ministry include; feelings of anger, anxiety, depression, addictions, abuse and neglect that lead to feelings of inadequacy. Mike is married to Becky. They have 3 children at home and one in college.

Mary J. (Jane) Barz Jane Barz is a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Tripp, SD. Jane has completed the Basic & Advanced Training in Theophostic Healing Prayer and in 2001, along with Mike Snyder helped to developed "The Matthew Ministry". Since it's inception she has helped provide prayer ministry to adults and children. In addition she serves as the Liaison for Charismatic Renewal in the Sioux Falls Diocese and serves on the Steering Committee for the Association of Diocesan Liaisons and also the National Service Committee for Charismatic Renewal. Through the years Jane has been active in parish life serving on the parish council, as Director of Religious Education and music ministry. She has played an active role in Days of Renewal, Leaders Retreats, Inner Healing Retreats, Conferences and various workshops and events. She is married to Dave. They have 4 adult children.
